Unleashed 2018

Unleashed 2018, April 13 & 14 at the Betty Oliphant Theatre. Students from Dance Performance Preparation and Dance Performance programs performed at our year-end show, featuring new work by Susie Burpee, Apolonia Velasquez, Cynthia Macedo, Dana Bondy and Derek Sangster.

In Haus 2015: A night of premieres!

In Haus 2015 (Dec 17 & 18) included the debut of choreographic works by selected George Brown Dance alumni, and performed by the George Brown Dance Ensemble. Many thanks to emerging artists Megan White, Jennifer Barrett, Lindsay Aquin, Carolyn Morris and Peter Kelly, for all their hard work and talent- We look forward to seeing more of your work in the future!

Spring Show: Unleashed 2015

George Brown Dance presented Unleashed 2015, on April 10 & 11 at the Betty Oliphant theatre. Tickets will be available for online purchase by March. New works featured by Cindy Macedo, Hanna Kiel, Derek Sangster, Distinguished Artists Anisa Tejpar and Sharon B. Moore, and more!  Dancers are from our programs in Dance Performance Studies and Dance Performance Preparation.

Studio Performance: In Haus

In Haus- Dec 4 & 5, 2014. This studio showing featured students from all George Brown Dance programs. The George Brown Dance Ensemble performed 4 works choreographed by alumni Kylie Jensen, Jerry Burchill, Andie Halliburn and Christoper Knowles. The Commercial Dance graduating class also gave a sneak peak of what to expect at their show the following week: Next Stage 2014 at Toronto Centre for the Arts.

Winter Show: Next Stage 2014

Next Stage 2014! Dec 12 & 13, 8pm: Toronto Centre for the Arts George Brown Dance presented the Commercial Dance Program’s graduation showcase December 12th and 13th. This spectacular show, presented by George Brown College and Canada’s Ballet Jörgen, featured students in Jazz, Hip Hop, Chorus Repertoire, Vocal and Acting pieces, as their rigorous training drew to a close and they prepared to take on the world of dance!
